5 Ingredients or Less: Mushroom and Basil Pasta

Here's a quick pasta recipe for you. I have whipped this up last Holy Week for the family, and they loved it. Simplified...in 5 ingredients or less:

Mushroom and Basil Pasta
1/2 kilo Cooked pasta of your choice
2 tbsp. Garlic, minced
1 cup Mushrooms of your choice (for this recipe, I used button mushrooms)
3 tbsp. Basil leaves (you could also use dried basil)
Grated cheese

Cook the pasta following the package instructions.
Sautee the minced garlic in oil.
Add mushrooms and basil leaves.
Add cooked pasta.
Then add grated cheese to your desired taste.
Cook till cheese is melted.

Bon appetit! :)

The Perfect Cup

What makes a perfect cup of coffee? For a chocolate junkie who needed an extra caffeine boost due to sleep deprivation, I finally attempted to make my first cup of coffee:
- 2 teaspoons of instant coffee
- 3 teaspoons of sugar
- 2 teaspoons of creamer
- a cup of hot water
I thought to myself, will this make my urge to sleep vanish in an instant?
With just a few sips, it somehow made dreamland seem so far away... But, was it perfect? A big N-O! It tasted too strong and too sweet, just like hot coffee syrup. Not perfect at all!
Oh well, there's always room for improvement. Maybe the next cup would be better... The quest for the perfect cup of coffee begins. :)
