Bringing Cheers to the Children of Childhaus

I know, I know... Too late to be posting something about Christmas, right? Well, I say it's never to late to post something worth reading. :)

They say, Christmas is always a time for giving and sharing your blessings. What better way to share your blessings than spending a day with the children of Childhaus?

Childhaus (Children's Health Improvement and Life Development) is a temporary shelter for young patients with cancer, leukemia and other serious ailments. It is founded in 2003 by PCSO, local government of Quezon City and the Ricky Reyes Foundation.

Last December 14, it was our turn to bring cheers and laughter to the children of Childhaus. Here are some photos of that wonderful day:

We started early to decorate the place.

This is Christian. He's eager and delighted to help decorate the place! :)
It's Myzyl's turn to hang a paper star.
Now, it's my turn to hang a paper star! :)

There were magic shows, games and surprises for the kids.

Barney felt like a star!
We gave out candy treats....
...and ice cream for the kids and young at heart. :)
We could see and hear the children having a great time with us. :)

Here are some photos of us distributing food for the kids and their parents.
It was indeed a Christmas outreach to remember:

Looking forward to this year's Christmas outreach! :)
